Zurich Next Generation Entrepreneur Award
The Zurich Next Generation Entrepreneur Award recognizes an outstanding next-generation entrepreneur who is shaping Zurich’s business and innovation ecosystem through innovative strength, entrepreneurial mindset, and social responsibility.
The award is part of The Zurich Ball and will be presented during the festive gala evening at The Dolder Grand.
The award sees itself not only as a recognition of entrepreneurial achievement, but also as a stage for personalities who take responsibility, realize new ideas, and actively contribute to shaping Zurich as a leading business location.
What makes the award special
The award is aimed at founders and next-generation entrepreneurs who create economic, social, or technological impact through their work.
Nominees are personalities who:
- demonstrate entrepreneurial vision and innovative strength
- take responsibility for employees and society
- shape new markets, technologies, or business models
- strengthen Zurich as a business location
The nomination brings visibility in front of an exclusive audience of entrepreneurs, investors, decision-makers, and personalities from business and culture.
Award
The winner will receive a exclusive entrepreneur coaching weekend in the Engadin, together with the core team of The Zurich Ball.
The weekend combines:
- Strategic coaching sessions with experienced business personalities
- Intensive exchange at eye level
- Inspiration for the next phase of growth
- time together in an extraordinary environment
The coaching weekend is designed for the entrepreneurial team (up to 6 people) and combines strategy, inspiration, and networking.
Who can apply
The following can apply:
- founders or entrepreneurial personalities
- with a company registered in the Swiss commercial register
- with a connection to the Zurich region
- companies with a maximum of 10 years of company history 10 years of company history
Both self-nominations and nominations by third parties are possible.
Selection procedure
The selection will be made by an independent jury from business and entrepreneurship.
The jury evaluates applications based on criteria such as:
- entrepreneurial performance
- innovative strength
- growth and market impact
- contribution to Zurich as a business location
The nominated personalities will be invited to The Zurich Ball where the award will be presented during the gala evening.
